PANAJI: Delhi MLA Atishi Marlana, who has been appointed as in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Goa unit arrived in the State on Sunday.
Atishi was on Friday appointed as in-charge of AAP's Goa unit replacing AAP leader Durgesh Pathak, who was in-charge of affairs of Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra. During her visit to Goa, Atishi will discuss organisation building operations and is also likely to announce party candidates for the Zilla Panchayat (ZP) elections on Monday.
AAP Goa has decided to contest all 50 ZP seats, which goes to polls on March 22. Atishi Marlena is an Indian politician, educator, political activist and MLA from Delhi. She is a member of the Political Affairs Committee of Aam Aadmi Party. She is currently an elected MLA from Kalkaji constituency of South Delhi, informed party sources.
