Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut will arrive in Goa on Wednesday, September 29, for a two-day visit. He will hold talks with the state leadership and take stock of the party’s preparations for the assembly elections slated for early next year.
Goa Shiv Sena state Chief Jitest Kamat said Raut will meet various leaders and party functionaries. He will also inaugurate party offices at Mandrem and Pernem. “Few people from Cortalim and Panjim will also join Shiv Sena during his visit,” Kamat said.
This is Raut’s first visit to the coastal state. Earlier, Raut said that Shiv Sena will contest 22 seats in the Goa Assembly elections. “Shiv Sena has cadre in Goa and will contest elections, irrespective of success or failure.”
