At least four people were injured in a road accident at Goa after a Kadamba bus heading towards Ponda went off-road on Apewal, near the Ponda Savoi Verem route. The incident took place around 8 am on Monday.
According to locals, there were only six passengers on the Kadamba bus. On reaching Apeval, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to a sudden appearance of cattle.
Dhanashree Naik (30), Adpai - Durbhat, Meghan Sawant (52) KP and bus driver Sushma Gawde (42) Tamsuli - Khandola and driver Prakash Salunke (32) were injured in the accident. The wounded passengers were rushed to SDH hospital.
