
The Goa Football Association (GFA) has organised an eight-team Futsal tournament in Nuvem. The tournament is scheduled to start on the first of September in the Empire Sports Ground, Nuvem.
The teams in the tournament are divided into two groups. Group A comprises FC YFA, Sporting Club The Goa, Shirwade Sports Club and Youth Club of Manora, while Group B comprises Santacruz Club Kelshi, Panaji Footballers, Goa Velha Sports Club and Ambeli Sports Club.
The first two teams from both groups will advance to the semifinals played on September 7.

The tournament will be played according to FIFA's futsal rules, as well as strict adherence to the Covid-19 restrictive etiquette, according to the GFA said. The draw was held in the presence of GFA Futsal Committee Chairman Babli Mandrekar, Co-Chairman John Silva, GFA Executive Committee Members Velvin Menezes, Francis Nunes, Frankie Fernandes, Secretary Jovito Lopes.
On the first day of the tournament, Sporting Club will face FC YFA while Shirwade Club will face Youth Club Manora.
The final will be played on 12 September and the winning team will represent Goa in the All India Football Federation's national Futsal tournament.
