Churchill Brothers continue to decline in I-League football competition. The Margao-based football club lost 2-0 to Rajasthan United, which places them at the 12th position on the league table. The match was played at the Naihati Stadium in West Bengal on Monday.

Aloysius Muthayan, who was the architect of Rajasthan United's victory, scored both goals four minutes apart. He scored the first goal in the 34th minute and the second in the 38th minute.

With this victory, Rajasthan United remains unbeaten in four matches in a row. This was the team's second win in five matches and they sit at the 6th spot on the table after securing eight points from five games. In the previous fight, Churchill Brothers had beaten top-ranked Mohammedan Sporting, but they did not find a foothold on Monday. After half an hour of play, Rajasthan United took the lead. Allosius tricked Churchill Brothers goalkeeper Shilton Paul with a ball from Pedro Manzi on a brilliant pass from 17-year-old Gamar Nikum. Four minutes later, Allosius scored another goal to strengthen Rajasthan United's position.

Manjhi got the chance to hit a goal in Churchill Brothers' goal area. This time, Allosius scored the goal with the help of Pritam Singh. In the second half, the Churchill Brothers tried their best to fill the gap, but they did not succeed due to poor play.

In the 60th minute, Rajasthan goalkeeper Bhaskar Roy thwarted a good attempt by Kenneth Ikechukwu. With the last four minutes of the match remaining, Rajasthan United's Pedro Manjhi had a good chance to score, but he was unable to give the Churchill Brothers a goal.
