Suryadatta Education Foundation’s Pune Institute of Applied Technology (PIAT) organised a ‘Goa Study Tour’ for their students of Interior Design recently. The six-day tour gave an opportunity to the students to study Goan architecture style, ethnic culture and local traditions. Goan architect Gerard Da’Cunha guided these students. The students also got a chance to visit a caricature exhibition of painter Mario Miranda and a display of items used in Interior Design. The students visited the Goa Governor House. This building has a rich heritage. The students keenly observed the interior design, painting and artwork.
