The Goa under-19 cricket men's team will play its first match in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy against Mumbai. Goa part of the Elite C group will play its matches in Ahmedabad. The Goa-Mumbai faceoff will take place on September 28 at the 'B' ground of Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera-Ahmedabad.
Goa will play Hyderabad on October 1 and Rajasthan on October 4 on the same ground. Goa will also play at the Gujarat College ground in Ahmedabad against Assam on September 29 and Tripura on October 2.
Meanhwile, Goa's under-19 women's one-day campaign will also start on September 28. The team is in the Elite B group and will play in Nagpur. Goa will face Delhi on September 28 and Bengal on September 29 at the VCA Stadium. The match will be played on October 1 against Jharkhand and on October 2 against Puducherry at Lady Amritbai Daga College ground in Nagpur.
Goa will play its last match against Tamil Nadu on October 4. According to the BCCI's Covid-19 Prevention Rules, the process of separation of the two teams will start from September 20 at the respective competition centres.
Currently, both the Goa teams are training in Pune and matches have been played with the Maharashtra team.
