Goa bike rally message: Say no to rape, yes to love

A motorcycle rally was organised by biking groups from Goa in solidarity with all rape and sexual violence survivors on March 9, 2024, from the Sharada Mandir School in Miramar.

IN SOLIDARITY

The aim of the bike rally was to create awareness and seek justice for Spanish woman biker, who was gangraped in Jharkhand's Dumka district when she was travelling the country with her husband.

BIKING FOR WOMEN

Through the rally, the Goan motorcycling community sent out a strong message against rape and all forms of sexual violence.

RESPECT WOMEN

Bikers from all over Goa participated in the rally which started from Sharada Mandir School in Miramar, went upto Divja Circle in Panjim and culminated at Azad Maidan in Panjim.

SAFETY MESSAGE

Riders compulsorily wore helmets on the ride to educate onlookers that wearing helmets and staying safe while riding bikes is also cool!

HUGE RESPONSE

Over 50 bikers from different biking groups from the state participated in the rally; among them seven were women bikers.
