The Pilerne Thursday Heritage Market recently hosted the 'Cajuchem Fest', which was held at the St John the Baptist Church grounds, in Pilerne, North Goa.
Considering that the cashew was the focus of the event, delicious cashews and a range of products made from cashews were seen at the fest.
A variety of juicy, fresh cashew apples were among the many cashew items on sale.
One of the attractions of the event was a demo of cashew seeds being roasted and broken the traditional Goan way on an open fire.
Apart from the stalls, delicacies and displays, there was also music, games and dance to keep the public entertained at the Cajuchem Fest 2023.
And, it wasn't just cashews which could be seen at the fest, as there were plenty of stalls selling fruits and homemade delicacies.
Visitors to the Pilerne Thursday Heritage Market got a glimpse of the local produce as well as the handmade products made by the villagers.
