FOOT NOTES

Snakes tend to hide in tall grass and thick undergrowth, so it's best to avoid those areas. Opt for protective footwear like boots, that cover your ankles, rather than open sandals.

STEER CLEAR

Areas with discarded wooden logs, tile piles, or debris tend to attract rodents, increasing the likelihood of snakes nearby. So, it is best to avoid such places.

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

If you encounter a snake, unless you are an expert, keep your distance. Do not attempt to touch, catch, or kill it even if it appears non-venomous.

CLOSE ENCOUNTER

If you're staying somewhere close to nature, there’s always a chance that snakes may enter through small openings — so it’s advisable to keep windows closed.
