FC Goa celebrated the best of the 2024-25 season at a glittering awards night held at a starred resort in South Goa. The club’s players from senior and youth teams were felicitated for their exceptional performances.

THE BRIGHTEST OF ALL

Brison Fernandes emerged as the undisputed star among the Gaurs, sweeping multiple honours. He also picked his title of ISL Emerging Player of the Season from team coach Manolo Marquez.

THE TEAM'S TALL WALL

The highlight of the night was the announcement of the FC Goa Club Player of the Season 2024-25, awarded to Indian international Sandesh Jhingan.

BEHIND THE MAN

On the occasion, Jhingan delivered an emotional speech about reflecting on his comeback from career-threatening injury and thanked his wife and teammates for their unwavering belief and support throughout his comeback.

KING OF THE NET

Iker Guarrotxena (to the left) was awarded the the Coro medal for being the top scorer. The medal, named after the club’s all-time top scorer, Ferran Corominas, is the first award instituted by FC Goa to be named after a player.

MAGIC STRIKE

Borja Herrera won Goal of the Season award for his stunning strike in the second leg of the ISL 2024-25 semi-finals against Bengaluru FC that captured the imagination of the fans.

RELIABLE & REMARKABLE

The Iron Man Award went to Boris Singh, whose consistency saw him clock 2192 minutes across competitions, more than any other FC Goa player. Boris featured in 25 of 26 ISL matches.

GUARDIAN OF THE GOAL

Goalkeeper Hrithik Tiwari was honoured with the Breakthrough Season Award. Hrithik made 23 appearances, kept 8 clean sheets, and made 52 saves, including a decisive one while playing Odisha FC that helped secure three crucial points.
