Fr Rob Galea's maiden concert strikes a spiritual chord with Goa

Australian priest Fr Rob Galea's maiden live music concert in Goa at Pilar on September 9, 2023, struck a spiritual chord with Goans.

SHINING STAR

After making his stage entry, the priest walked the ramp in the midst of the thousands gathered at the concert amidst a thundering applause.

ROCK ON

As the concert progressed, Fr Galea and his band raised the tempo with their touching gospel music.

TURN IT UP

The priest walked, jumped, prayed, sang and preached the word of God, in between sharing his life journey from despair to hope.

JAM OUT

After walking onto the stage, Fr Galea kept his promise of a non-stop performance that lasted around two hours.

ON A SONG AND PRAYER

Fr Galea's message through his songs and preaching was clear --- take the spiritual path and awaken your spiritual consciousness.

HUMOUR UNLIMITED

Fr Galea's preaching interspersed with humour had the people laughing their hearts out.

MEMORABLE MEMENTO

At the end of the concert, Goa's famous cartoonist Alexyz presented the priest a caricature of his drawn by him.

WITH LOVE FROM GOA

Provincial Superior of Goa Province and the chief coordinator of the concert, Fr Mateus Fernandes, also presented mementos to Fr Galea and his band members.

YOUTH POWER

As was expected, the concert attracted youth in droves. Among the roughly 5,000 people at the show, most were youngsters.
