MAQUINEZ PALACE

Originally built as a palace for the Portuguese Viceroy, today Maquinez Palace is a cultural center hosting various exhibitions and events, including the annual film extravaganza, IFFI.

OLD POST OFFICE

This historical building served as the central post office during the Portuguese era. Today, it stands as a charming structure of historical significance.

ABBE FARIA

This statue was built in honour of Jose Custodio de Faria, a pioneer in the field of hypnotism. It stands next to the Adil Shah Palace, right in the heart of the city.

KALA ACADEMY GOA

Kala Academy is a prominent cultural institution dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Goan art and culture.

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH

One of the most familiar landmarks of Panjim city, this church was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. It is also one of the oldest churches in Goa, and is known for its unique architecture.

DR FL GOMES GARDEN

The garden is named after Dr Francisco Luis Gomes, a renowned Goan physician, historian and politician, whose statue can also be seen in the garden. Visitors can take leisurely walks here or simply embrace the beauty of the environs.

INSTITUTE MENEZES BRAGANZA

This cultural institution gets its name from Goan historian and freedom fighter, Dr Joao Vicente Ferreira Menezes Braganza. The institute is dedicated to promoting Goan culture, literature and the arts.
