Wearing traditional outfits and decorated with intricate jewellery, participants took part in the traditional Shigmo fancy dress competition, fully embodying their chosen characters.
The high energy of the women combined with the beats of the traditional dhol and tashe created an electrifying atmosphere that set the crowd's feet tapping.
The Shigmotsav celebrations in Bicholim were a joyous occasion that honoured the community and its cherished customs, providing a glimpse into the cultural heritage of Goa.
