Carnival festivities kicked off in Goa starting from Porvorim on Friday, February 9, 2024. The celebrations will continue for the next 4 days in Panjim, Margao, Vasco, and Mapusa.

Participants of different age groups took part in the float parade, and even the scorching sun above could not dampen their enthusiasm.

The elaborately adorned floats parade showcased a range of social issues such as global conflict, solidarity, and environmental conservation.

The participants at the parade were seen having a great time dancing to lively tunes that brought to life the energy of Carnival.

The onlookers – both children and youth – with their Carnival masks on added a new energy to the event.
