Goa's Tsumyoki bags 'Best India Act' at MTV Europe Music Awards 2023

Hailing from Margao, rapper, singer-songwriter and producer, Nathan Joseph Mendes, popularly known as Tsumyoki, has become the latest buzz in the music world.
The 22-year-old artist tasted victory at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards, which announced the winners on November 5, 2023.

BEST INDIA ACT
Tsumyoki, who was among other nominees like Dee MC, DIVINE, Mali and When Chai Met Toast, was declared winner under the category of Best Local Act Awards (India).

WE WON!
The youngster took to social media to share the news, simply announcing, 'Goa! we won a fkn EMA'.

ROAD TO SUCCESS
At 19, the youngster gained recognition with his debut single and was also the first and youngest artist to be signed by Divine’s Gully Gang record label in 2021.
