A relic piece of St Anthony's tongue is kept at this chapel in South Goa. The feast of the Miraculous Tongue of St Anthony is celebrated at this chapel on February 15 annually.

The feast of St Anthony is celebrated annually on June 13 across the state with thirteen days of novenas or prayer service called 'trezena' held prior to the celebration.
