This 112th year of Dindi festival was celebrated in Margao on Wednesday, November 17.
This festival starts in the evening, once the puja is performed in Shri Hari Mandir, but due to pandemic, the procession this year was carried out without the 'palkhi' (palanquin).
The devotees dance and chants melodious tunes of 'taal', 'mrudang' and 'prakhvaz'
This festival goes on for seven days and will conclude at around 12.30 pm on November 18.
