THE REASON?

One reason for the waterlogged roads was that drains in the locality were clogged since they hadn't been cleaned prior to the onset of the monsoons.

PHOTO OPP

The floods gave people a photo opportunity, too, and many were seen going live on social media, sharing pictures of the city's flood-like situation.

MORE THAN 18th JUNE ROAD

It wasn't 18th June Road alone which was submerged, but various other parts of the city as well.

OUTSIDE PANJIM POLICE HEADQUARTERS

The road outside the Police Headquarters, in Panjim, was under water due to its poor drainage system, forcing people to wade through ankle-deep water.
