Porvorim slows down for NoMoZo

Sunday, January 29, 2024, turned out to be a fun day in Porvorim, which played host to the 5th edition of 'NoMoZo'. Spanning a 3 km stretch, the event featured over 14 zones and more than 100 stalls.

DIVINE ROUTE

From community involvement to exciting displays to diverse experiences, NoMoZo (No Motor Zone) started off on a great note.

CELEB SPEAK

The presence of Bollywood actor, Jackie Shroff, sent the crowds into a frenzy. The superstar urged citizens to plant more trees and take care of "our land, soil and water."

HIGH SPEED ZONE

Apart from zones for kids, youth and senior citizens, there were stalls dedicated to heritage, technology, tourism, art, boxing, dance, health, astronomy, pets and martial arts.

ON YOUR MARKS ...

From themed photo booths to art to sports, NoMoZo was a great opportunity for families to have a relaxed and enjoyable experience, while also being an inclusive event.

FEELING THE PULSE

The venue -- which extended from the Directorate of Technical Education to ACDIL High School in Porvorim -- was lined with over a 100 stalls, offering a diverse range of shopping, culinary delights, games and activities.
