Potters Fest Goa 2024: Putting a spin on traditional terracotta art

LET THE FEST BEGIN

The 3rd edition of 'Potters Fest', curated by Bipasha Sen Gupta, has just begun at the Dr Francisco Luis Gomes Garden in Campal, Panjim.

SHOWCASE OF CREATIVITY

The 3-day event, which kicked off on Friday, January 12, 2024 will continue till Sunday, January 14, 2024, and showcase the creations of 38 studio potters from across the nation.

POTTERING AROUND

The potters' festival provides a platform for pottery artists to display and promote their artistic works.

OBJETS D'ART

Studio potters elevate traditional pottery to new heights, while creating unique ceramic trinkets such as pendants, showpieces and more.

MODERN & TRADITIONAL

Traditionally crafted items, adorned with modern touches, could also be seen in a variety of forms such as miniature pots, decorative pieces, paperweights, figurines and more.

FASHION STATEMENT

Believe it or not, these uber-stylish jewellery pieces are made of terracotta -- definitely a fashion statement you wouldn't want to overlook!

HOW IT'S MADE

Workshops will be held during the festival, providing visitors an opportunity to unleash their creative streak, while also getting an insight into pottery arts.
