On Sunday, a 'Cyclothon' was held in Goa as part of the 'Heritage is our Soul' event.
The 'cyclothon' was organised by the Ganga Zuari Academy, Dona Paula, in association with the Ministry of Tourism.
Superintendent of Police, North Goa, Nidhin Valsan, IPS, also made his presence at the cyclothon.
The cyclothon had two categories -- the Junior Group (children below 16 years of age) and the Senior Group (above 16 years).
Manju Ballari, Chander Shekhar Sharma and Kiran Kumar bagged the top three positions in the Senior category...
... while Angie Fernandes, Sairaj Barekar and Trisha Bidye won the top spots in the Junior category.
The event saw a total of 34 cyclists take part in the Senior event (Miramar to Bambolim & back) and another 15 in the Junior category (Miramar to Dona Paula circle & back).
