Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts, Altinho, Panjim, in association with The Mustard Seed Art Company, Goa, is organising a theatrical production, Who Stole the Water?, by Isabel Santa Rita Vas and Kiran Bhandari.

The script and direction is by Isabel SR Vas, while the cast of 5 consists of Kiran Bhandari, Priyanka Pandit, Stuti Gaitonde, Jeff D'Cruz and Rohan Olegario Nazareth.

Who Stole the Water? Revolves around the significance of water in our lives and our responsibility towards it.

The state of Goa has abundant sources of water – the monsoons, rivers, seas – and management of these water resources is imperative. Considering that ‘water’ is so important and is almost always in the news, it is only fitting that a play should be based on this theme, too.

Other venues where the performance will be held:

  • Chinchinim: Florence Nightingale Centre on Nov 5, 2023

  • Salvador do Mundo (Saloi): Sensible Earth on Nov 11, 2023

The Mustard Seed Art Company, founded by Prof Isabel Santa Rita Vas, is an amateur theatre group from Goa and has been entertaining audiences in Goa for close to 4 decades.
