Churchill Brothers FC has signed Luv Kapoor from Delhi, who has played for a fourth division Spanish Club, for the upcoming I-league season.
Luv Kapoor made history three years ago by signing to Palamos and became the first Indian footballer to sign a contract with a Spanish league team in 2018.
Now he returns to India to play for Churchill Brothers in Goa for the upcoming season. Luv is a midfielder who has trained in England and France.
The Churchill Brothers have won the I-League twice. They had to settle for the runner-up spot last season. The Churchill Brothers will play in the I-League for the 2021-22 season under Romanian coach Peter Gigiu.
The Churchill Brothers have also signed three new foreign footballers for the upcoming I-League season. These include Guinean striker Sekou Sila, Brazilian midfielder Guillermo Escuro and Lebanese defender Shadi Skaf.
