The Calangute police have arrested a Ghana national for being in possession of illegal drugs worth Rs 12 lakh on Monday
According to the police, the officials conducted a midnight raid on Sunday at a rented apartment in Orda-Candolim and seized drugs worth Rs 12 lakhs including 25 grams of Charas and 8 grams of ecstasy.
The accused has been identified as 37-year-old Priscilla Adjete.
Police have registered a case against the suspect under anti-narcotics law and further investigation is underway, Police Inspector Lakshi Amonkar said.
