Teen girl dies by suicide in Cortalim

A first-year commerce student of KP Government college allegedly killed herself in Cortalim on Friday. The deceased Kavita Dalvi (19) was a native of Khanapur in Karnataka.

According to Cortalim police, the family of Kavita Dalvi, originally from Khanapur, was living in a rented room in Cortalim. Her body was found hanging from a fan on Friday evening. Her family members immediately informed the police after they discovered the body.

The police have sent the body for autopsy. Police are conducting further investigation.
