ISL 2021-22: Northeast United to face Bengaluru FC in Bambolim

Coming off an incredible 2020-21 season Northeast United takes former champions Bengaluru FC on Saturday, 20 November. The match will be played at the stadium at Bambolim.

Last season, both games between these teams ended as draws.

Northeast United will play their under, then interim, now full-time coach Khalid Jameel. Last season, under Jamil, the team had advanced to the semi-finals.

Bengaluru FC will play their match under Marco Pezzaiuoli. Bangalore's performance was poor last season. They finished seventh in the group stage. Pezzaiuoli replaces interim head coach Naushad Moosa

Chhetri on the verge of history

Veteran footballer Sunil Chhetri has a chance to set the all-time scoring record in the ISL. FC Goa striker Ferran Corominas currently holds the record with 48. But Chhetri now only needs one goal to level Corominas' record.
