The 2021-22 ISL season has been challenging for FC Goa. The Gaurs have lost all three games and have conceded eight goals. Sitting at the bottom of the league, FC Goa will face the tenth placed team, SC East Bengal, in their next game on Tuesday December 7.

While discussing the team's playing style, FC Goa coach Juan Ferrando spoke about team’s mindset and the positives from the last game. “This is the way we play and the way we see the game, even though yesterday we did not have much success. I believe we should be working in that same direction. We need to improve everything but our priority is to believe in ourselves, to believe in our skills and that we can do it.”

Speaking about the upcoming game, coach Ferrando opined, “Again, I think it is crucial to control our emotions. We should get rid of nerves and stress. The situation is difficult, but we need to do our best and work hard to get ready for that match.”

Although FC Goa commanded the game well against NorthEast United but missed resoluteness on the pitch. The team lacked precision in the final third and were caught napping at the back occasionally. Eight goals conceded in their first three games have reflected the lack of stability at the back.
