Caritas-Goa, in association with professional artist and art facilitator, Lioba Knepple, is offering a new, certificate course on ‘Art as a Healing Tool’ at Institute Nossa Senhora de Piedade, Panjim.
The course will be held every Saturday from August 26, 2023 to November 4, 2023. Lioba Knepple will be the resource person for the 10 sessions.
Lioba Knepple, from Germany, is a professional artist and art facilitator and will teach participants about the positive strength which arises out of creativity, so that they can help others do the same.
Participants of the course will also learn to utilise this technique when dealing with children and vulnerable, or marginalised, adults in the context of the Goan environment.
Among other things, participants will also learn how to use different art tools together, how to see and understand children’s paintings and help them live better, as well as use creative abilities in one’s daily work.
