Admissions to 50% State quota PG degree, diploma seats at GMC for 2020-2021

Admissions will be on the basis of rules and regulations notified in the Government Gazette Series I No 51 dated March 21, 2005, along with Series I No 50 dated March 11, 2004, Series I No 32 dated November 10, 2016 and Gazette of India No 51 dated February 5, 2019, and Bond implementation will be as per Government Gazette series I No36 dated December 8, 2015 which is also likely to be revised.

PANAJI: Goa Medical College has invited applications from eligible candidates who have obtained their Permanent Registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council and have appeared for NEET-PG 2020 for admissions to 50% State quota Post Graduate degree and diploma seats of Goa University at Goa Medical College for the academic year 2020-21.

5% of PG Seats are allocated to Persons with Disability (PwD) Candidates fulfilling the MCI criteria as per directives Gazette Notification No MCI -34(41)/2018-Med/170045 dated February 5, 2019. Details of seats available and Rules to be followed are displayed on Notice Board of Goa Medical College, Bambolim.

Date of inviting applications is on March 9, 2020, Last date of receipt of applications is on March 20, 2020 by (5 pm), display of provisional merit list will be on March 26, 2020 (Medical College Notice Board), Display of Final Merit list will be on March 30, 2020 (Medical College Notice Board), first round of counseling-cum-admission will be on April 1, 2020. The last date for joining the allotted course after 1st round on April 12, 2020, second round of Counseling-Cum-Admission on April 24, 2020. The last date for joining the allotted course after 2nd round is on May 3, 2020, Commencement of Academic Session/Term on May 1, 2020, Mop-up Round is on May 8, 2020. The last date for joining the allotted course after Mop-up Round is on May 12, 2020

Venue and time of Counseling-cum-Admission: conference hall, next to the office of Dean, GMC from 2.30 pm onwards. It is further stated that candidates must remain present in person during each round of counseling – cum-admission with all their original documents along with attested copies.
