If you enjoyed last year’s ‘Xaxtii Heritage Hunt’ by YWCA, Margao, you’ll love this year’s event! The second edition of the ‘Xaxtii Heritage Hunt’ has been given a vibrant Christmassy feeling, in keeping with the festive season. This time around, it will be called ‘The Santa Chase Heritage Hunt’ and will take place on Sunday, 5 December 2021.
The race will be in the style of a Treasure Hunt. Teams on bikes or cars will have to solve clues in order to discover historic sites in North as well as South Goa. Participants will get the opportunity to drive through the picturesque Goan countryside, discover the cultural heritage of our unique state, and revel in its beauty and bounty.
Participants will be given ten clues; then they have to drive to the locations and take a selfie. The first car/bike will win a prize. Lots of prizes have been lined up, including many spot prizes.
The women of YWCA of Goa came up with this event as a means to promote Goa’s rich culture and heritage, especially among the youth, thus giving people a unique way to explore our own backyard, and dwell on the centuries of history that has led us to where we are.

REGISTRATION FEE: Rs 1,000 for cars; Rs 500 for bikes
AGE LIMIT: There is no age limit for participation. Participants under 18 need to be accompanied by parents. If not, they must submit a written consent.
PRIZES: Cash prizes upto Rs 10,000 (Car category); cash prizes upto Rs 5,000 (Bike category). Plus loads of spot prizes.
