The first edition of the Goa Book fair will take place at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, from February 9 to 13, 2023. The event has been organised by the Margao-based 'Publishing Next' and 'The Dogears Bookshop'.
One of the first in many years, the fair aims to bring together publishers and booksellers from across the country under one roof. Stationery items and educational toys will also be available at the venue.
The fair aims to familiarise Goan readers with other books and authors of different genres in a number of different languages.
The fair will act as a medium for schools, colleges and other institutions to engage with publishers and booksellers and allow them to get access to the books that they would like to showcase in their respective libraries.
