Goa's Public Astronomical Observatory viewings on November 8, 2022

The last eclipse of this year will be visible in Goa on November 8, 2022, and the Public Astronomical Observatory, Junta House, Panjim, will be open to the general public from 6 pm to view the event.

There will also be viewing facilities at the Public Astronomical Observatory, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao; terrace of Vidya Prabodini High School, Porvorim; and Mallikarjun Vidyalaya, Char Rasta, Canacona, at the same time.

This is a rare lunar eclipse, in which the fully eclipsed blood moon will appear almost exactly on the International Date Line in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Goa will also witness the phenomenon.
