Listen to an anthropologist and author @ MoCA
Museum of Christian Art (MoCA), Old Goa, presents ‘Finding a space for Christian Art in India’ on September 30, 2022. Researcher at the Centre for Research in Anthropology (CRIA), Dr Jason Keith Fernandes, will be the resource person.
The lecture will touch upon the kind of art that is labelled as ‘Indian,’ and will also offer a theological discussion on ‘Indian’ art that is Christian.
Dr Jason is an anthropologist and researcher at the Centre for Research in Anthropology (CRIA) at ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute, Portugal. He is the author of the award winning monograph Citizenship in a Caste Polity: Religion, Language and Belonging in Goa (2020), and has degrees in law, the sociology of law, and theology.
