Be a mosaicist for a day as Carpe Diem Art Centre, Majorda, presents a mosaic workshop on May 21, 2023. Marilyn DCosta will be the resource person for the workshop. Participants will get to take home their own mosaic creation on a terracotta plate.
Mosaicing dates back thousands of years, and is the art of creating images and designs using small pieces of coloured glass, stone, etc. The art combines painting, sculpting and puzzle-making so as to transform a simple design into an objet d'art.
It is a fun and creative activity that can be therapeutic as well as calming.
