‘AQUI ESTOY’ BY CRESCENDO CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Choir music is pleasing to the ears. And, one that is made of children sounds nothing short of angelic.
If this is what floats your boat, the good news is that you can listen to angelic voices this evening, on the eve of the feast of Goa’s St Joseph Vaz.
The St Joseph Vaz Spiritual Renewal Centre, Old Goa, presents ‘Aqui Estoy’, a tale of St Joseph Vaz, featuring the Crescendo Children’s Choir on January 15, 2024 at Old Goa.
‘Aqui Estoy’ translates to ‘Here I Am’, while the Crescendo Children's Choir, will be led by the accomplished choirmaster and voice coach, Raj D’Pietro Fernandes; and directed by the Director of Crescendo Community Centre for Music, Mapusa, Fr Ramiro Luis.

KONKANI KAROAKE CONTEST
Every week, the Made In Saligao Community Market continues to honour all things Goan. And, if you love singing Konkani songs as much as you love listening to them, then Saligao is the place to be tomorrow.
This Tuesday, January 16, 2024, there will be a Konkani Karaoke contest at the market, in addition to a delightful range of Goan delicacies, music, handcrafted products, etc from local entrepreneurs.
The Konkani karaoke contest will begin at 6 pm, and is open to anyone above the age of 15 years.
