Pustakamchem Fest

The Pustakamchem Fest will be held on April 19, 2022 at Saligao Institute, Saligao. The event is not just about books, but there will be activities and a pop-up market, too. The fest schedule of the day is as follows:

9 am: Fest begins

10 am – 12 noon: Goan music

12 noon – 12.45: Read aloud session for kids with ‘Reading Planet’

1.30 pm – 2 pm: Interview with ‘Out of Context Book Club’, conducted by Bina Nayak

2 pm – 3.30 pm: Live music

3.30 pm – 4 pm: Recitation of 3 poems by Pragya Bhagat (spoken word poet)

4 pm – 4.30 pm: Alexyz presents ‘QuoteToons’ & ‘SportToons and talks about his books

4.30 pm – 5 pm: Kids theatre directed by Anita Pinto

5 pm – 5.30 pm: Live music

5.30 pm – 5.45 pm: Poetry recitation by renowned nature poet, Salil Chaturvedi

5.45 pm – 7 pm: Live music

7 pm onwards: Launch of Dayanita Singh’s new book ‘Let’s See’, followed by a conversation with Vivek Menezes and book signing

OUTDOOR SESSIONS

11 am onwards: Goan Food Festival

4 pm onwards: ‘Made in Saligao’ market
