Those of you who missed, or can’t get enough of, Bardroy Barretto’s hit film, Nachom-ia Kumpasar, can now watch it at a venue near you. This week, the film will be shown at several locations around Goa. CDs will also be available at the venue, and are priced at ₹ 500.
Nachom-ia Kumpasar (Let's Dance to the Rhythm) is an award-winning Konkani musical film about the relationship between two Goan jazz musicians in the 60s in Bombay. The film was directed by Bardroy Barretto and stars Vijay Maurya, Palomi Ghosh, Meenacshi Martins, Prince Jacob and John D'Silva.
The movie contains over 20 popular Konkani songs from the 60s and 70s.
