Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday, February 4, released the party manifesto for the Goa assembly elections along with a roadmap - Goa Vision 2035 in the presence of national and state party leaders.

The Congress has promised to launch 'Mayencho Haat' under the Pan India NYAY scheme in Goa under which every poor family will get monthly financial support of Rs 6000

The Congress party has also assured to cap the Petrol and Diesel prices at Rs 80 per litre and scrap the section 16B of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act. The party has further assured 30 per cent reservation for women in a government job.

The party has also assured to scrap three anti-environment linear projects and will also repeal the CRZ notification of 2019.

The party has also promised to take immediate steps for the resumption of sustainable mining activities in Goa if voted to power.

The party will adopt the costal policies including prevention of non-Goan vessels entering Goan waters and stopping bull-trawling and LED fishing.

The party will also set Smart devices and Laptop libraries in schools and Colleges on the lines of book libraries.
