Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte on Monday, December 20, sought the blessings of Shri Ravalnath Deo and Shri Ajoba Deva near Querim as he began his election campaign ahead of Goa 2022 Assembly elections.
Speaking to GT, Dayanand Sopte said that only BJP can provide a stable administration in the state and the country.
He also appealed to the people to give him another chance by voting for him in the upcoming elections to help in strengthening the hands of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant
"All the women in Mandrem have decided that they will once again show their strength by supporting MLA Dayanand Sopte during this elections and solve the problems of every citizen of his electorate," Deepa Talkar, BJP Mandal Women President.
"Dayanand Sopte can develop the Mandrem constituency and the voters will never forget the work done by him during the Covid-19 period," said Santosh Korkhankar, Mandrem BJP Mandal General Secretary.
Mandrem BJP Mandal President Shri Madhu Parab, General Secretary Santosh Korkhankar, Women North Goa President Nayani Shetgaonkar, Former Sarpanch Namita Kerkar, and among others with a large number of supports were also present.
In 2017 Assembly election, Sopte defeated former Chief Minister Lamikant Parsekar to win Mandrem on Congress Party ticket. However, later he defected to BJP.
