
Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party on Sunday, December 26, announced Ramakrishna 'Sudin' Dhavalikar as the chief ministerial candidate of the MGP-Trinamool Congress alliance.
MGP launched its statewide campaign for the forthcoming assembly elections after party leaders and candidates took blessings of the deity in the Mahalasa Narayani temple at Mardol.

The MGP president said the MGP-TMC alliance will bring about a new dawn in Goa and assured a pro-people government upon the assembly polls.
Addressing a rally, Ramakrishna Dhavalikar urged people to teach a lesson to the BJP government.
He also called the BJP as ‘anti-Hindu party’ for stopping work at the Tapobhumi math, Kundaim.
The TMC has forged a pre-poll alliance with the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP), of which Mamlatdar was an MLA between 2012 and 2017.
