The Goa Trinamool Congress (TMC) announced the third list of 6 candidates for the upcoming Goa Assembly elections on Tuesday, January 25.

In the third list, Tarak M Arolkar, Ward Councilor of Mapusa Municipal, will be contesting from Mapusa while Former Congress North Goa District General Secretary, Bholanath Ghadi Sakhalkar, will be contesting from Saligao.

Social activist Jayesh Shetgaonkar has been named party's candidate from Mormugao constituency.

Former GPPC Secretary, Saifullah Khan, will be contesting from Vasco and State Vice President, Kanta Kashinath Gaude, will be contesting from Quepem.

Former Congres Spokesperson Rakhi Naik has been named party's candidate from Sanguem.

TMC had released their second list of 7 candidates on Sunday. In the second list, Kavita Kiran Kandolkar, former Colvale ZP Member and wife of former Goa Forward Party president Kiran Kandolkar, is contesting from Tivim. Questions might be asked on TMC's decision to field former MLA Benjamin Silva instead of South Goa Advocates Association's President Antonio Clovis Da Costa.

The Mamata Banerjee-led party is fighting Goa assembly elections in alliance with Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP). The election for the 40 seats will take place on February 14, and the ballots will be counted on March 10.
