The funeral of Archbishop Emeritus Raul Gonsalves will be held on July 4, 2022, at 4 pm at Se Cathedral Church in Old Goa.
Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media Director, Fr Barry Cardozo, said that people would be allowed to pay their respects to Rev Gonsalves 45 minutes before the farewell Eucharistic service at the Se Cathedral.
It is learnt that some of the bishops from across India are expected to attend the farewell mass, but are yet to confirm their participation.
Rev Gonsalves was the first Goan to be appointed archbishop of the archdiocese. He was 95.
