In an incident at Dicholi, the owner himself pulled his two buffaloes out of a canal in Dicholi locality in Bicholim.
Two buffaloes were trapped in the canal in Dicholi area for more than a week before escaping safely. Since the buffaloes were stuck in the canal for the last eight days, the owner got worried and pulled them out of the canal by himself. The buffaloes were stuck in the canal for a week because the owner was unaware of their whereabouts. Finally, with the help of a young man, the owner found and rescued the buffaloes.
Since the canal that runs through Bicholim is dry, the two buffaloes were stranded in it with no way of getting out. A young man from Valshi saw this and started searching for the owner of the buffalo trapped in the canal.
While searching for the owner, the youth came to know that the buffalo belonged to Sandeep Tate of Lakhere-Dicholi. On Monday morning, the owner of the buffalo rushed to the spot to pull the buffaloes out of the canal. It took more time to find them after that since they had travelled along the canal a great distance from Valshi.
