Goa Cricket Association president Suraj Lotlikar has been appointed as the Administrative Supervisor of the Indian Cricket Team for the tour of South Africa by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday, January 13.

Suraj joins the Indian team for the third Test in Cape Town. He will also be the administrative observer for the three-match ODI series following the Test. The last ODI of the tour will be played on January 23. The BCCI has specially appointed Suraj to manage the touring Indian team in the pandemic situation.

He has been part of the Goa Cricket Association since the 1990s. After his cricket career, Lotlikar was an official of the Stamina Club and part of the selection committee of the GCA. He was also a member of the GCA Management Committee and became the Vice President and the Chairman in 2018.
