The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) on Monday announced the 20-member squad upcoming Cooch Behar Trophy under-19 cricket tournament. All-rounder Kaushal Hattangadi will lead the side.
The tournament will be played in Surat, Gujarat. Goa is in the Elite C group with Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.
Goa's first match will be against Maharashtra from November 29 to December 2. Goa will then play against Tamil Nadu (December 6-9), Himachal (December 13-16), Chhattisgarh (December 20-23) and Madhya Pradesh (December 27-30).
The Cooch Behar Trophy is one of India's premier under-19 tournaments. The matches are four days long.
In the 2020-21 season, Baroda won the Cooch Behar Trophy.
