Panaji: The State level unified BOCCE tournament was organized recently by Disha School for Special Children.Twenty special schools from all over Goa participated in the event, which was inaugurated by Management of Disha by rolling the Pulina and playing a friendly game with the Special educators.
The gold medals and winners shield was clinched by Keshav Seva Sadhana, Bicholim. Silver medals and second prize shield was won by Disha School for Special Children, Panaji. Bronze medals and third prize shield was won by Lok Vishwas Pratishthan, Canacona.
The shields and trophies were given away by Vice President Inner Wheel Club of Panaji, Manisha Sardesai and the managing committee member Poornima Priyolkar.
The best female athlete trophy was won by Mumtaz Zalmi from Keshav Seva Sadhana, Bicholim and the best male athlete trophy was won by Mehboob Shaikh from Disha School for Special Children, Panaji.
