Did you ever dream of exploring Goa's rich culture and heritage through art? Your search ends here!
This May, the Museum of Christian Art (MoCA), Old Goa, has curated an exciting lineup of workshops and immersive experiences that blend creativity with community, nature with narrative, and history with hands-on learning.
HERITAGE LINES: A SKETCHWALK ON HOLY HILL
The first event to kick off on Saturday, May 10, 2025, this outdoor workshop is perfect for those who cherish capturing memories — be it through scribbles, sketches or collecting old stubs and bills.
Participants will embark on a guided heritage walk through the historic landscape surrounding the museum, engaging with Christian art and architectural marvels while learning the basics of sketching, composition, and observational drawing.
Led by MoCA’s museum educators, this workshop encourages participants to craft their own illustrated journal spreads, blending words and images into a keepsake of their experience.
A special show-and-tell session at the end of the walk aims to foster community sharing and creative exchange.

The experience begins with a guided tour, highlighting the flora and fauna in the museum’s artefacts.
This will then be followed by a hands-on session where participants will craft their own puppets and co-create stories that reflect the pressing realities of climate change and habitat loss.
