Looking to spend an evening diving into some delicious delights in Goa? A one-day pop-up at Hosa is set to showcase the State’s rich flavours with a modern twist, an event you definitely shouldn’t miss.

With cocktails that bring the fun of tropical living to life, and food that’s simple yet sophisticated, on November 22, 2024, Hosa will be collaborating with Mumbai’s O Pedro to offer an exceptional dining experience in a lively and welcoming setting.

Known for their deep-rooted connections to Goan and Portuguese culinary traditions, O Pedro has previously done bar takeovers in Goa, but this is the first time they’re serving cocktails alongside a selection of small plates at Hosa, Goa.

GOA'S FAVOURITES: Enjoy Prawn Balchow with some 'poee' and butter at this exclusive event.

“This collaboration is the result of a shared vision to celebrate Goan cuisine in its finest form. When two renowned kitchens come together, it’s bound to create magic,” exclaimed Chef Harish Rao, brand chef at Hosa.

He added, “What we admire most about O Pedro is their unwavering dedication to capturing the soul of Goan food while giving it a creative and contemporary twist. It’s always inspiring to work with a team that shares the same passion for local flavours.”

The evening’s menu will showcase a curated selection of cocktails and small plates that bring out the vibrant flavours and techniques of Goa, crafted with a perfect blend of simplicity, creativity and that signature O Pedro twist.

“For this takeover, O Pedro is bringing some of their signature cocktails and small plates, all inspired by the vibrant flavours of Goa. The drinks capture the fun, tropical vibe of the region, while the food is full of flavour – blending Portuguese influences with the diverse flavours and ingredients of Goa,” said Chef Hussain Shahzad, Executive Chef, Hunger Inc. Hospitality.

This exclusive bar takeover will let you bite into Mushroom Ceviche (pickled oyster mushrooms, lima bean mousse, crispy tempura), Alsande Dan-Gar (crumb-fried cutlet, green mango chutney, water chestnut kachumber) and Hara Chana ‘Tostada’ (spicy coconut masala, chickpea hummus, rice papdi).

There will also be Choriz Chilli Taco (rice bhakri, shoestring fries, tomato aioli), Cardoz’s Chicken Chilli Fry (fresh green chillies, garlic, kokum) and Prawn Bal-Chow (red chilli, toddy vinegar, prawn oil).

ONE BITE AT A TIME: O Pedro's Sweet Potato 'Dan-Gar' will leave you craving for more.

Complementing these delights will be meticulously paired beverages, including Choriz & Chill (Bombay Sapphire, choriz infusion, lemon, saline & pickle brine, bell pepper soda) and Mango Mambo (feni, lime, salt, mango ginger soda, chilli).

Other cocktails include Guava Pineapple Sour (Grey Goose, Perry Road Peru, Aperol, Tropical Saccharum, lemon, egg white), Kokum Picante (Patron Silver, spiced kokum cordial, lime) and Where Else (Fig Infused Dewar’s 12 Y, Campari, aromatised wine, ginger liqueur, orange bitters).

With a menu featuring all these items, the two restaurants will ensure you’re taken on a culinary journey that brings the very essence of Goa to your plate, combining bold flavours, fresh ingredients and innovative cooking techniques to deliver a truly unforgettable dining experience.
