Watch the Spanish film 'Maria Full of Grace'

ATTEND SPANISH FILM SCREENING

This Thursday, April 27, 2023, watch the screening of the Spanish film Maria Full of Grace, which was nominated for the Best Actress at the Academy Awards.

The film will be screened at the Maquinez Palace, Old GMC Complex in Panjim at 6.30 pm.

Directed by Joshua Marston, the duration of the film is 1 hour, 38 minutes. The film has also won the title for the Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival, not forgetting getting nominated for an Oscar.

Catalina Sandino Moreno plays a young woman from Colombia who works on a plantation. After a turn of events on her way to Bogota, she is offered the job of trafficking drugs and that changes her life. 

The screening is being hosted by the Cinephile Film Club of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) and the film is sure to have English subtitles for all the non-Spanish viewers.
